emos - created to be hated

Description

YAY! my first image edited on photoshop!
... and it's probably going to recieve the most hate mail...
Look, i'm not taking sides on this "emo" war... ok, because this is one of those things that the more you fight for the one side the more the other side wins. I agree, some, as you steriotypists call them "emos" need a bit of slap face love, however most of you are missing out the love and just having the slap-face part, making everyone miserable.

Ok! now that that "please don't hate me" plee is finnished, let's get on with the poem, shall we!

Inspired by a conversation I had with emma about calling people emo by how they dress and now they act but the sterio type never seems to match. I chose Lucas because my friend called him "my emo puppet". It made sence, seeing as i was making a puppet and he was broken. Also because in this image he seems at his emotional, love needy best, and he also looks cute as well, which makes you want to give him love :D

Opening line was the basics of my message, which was the more you opress emos, the emoer they will become, the more they are hated and it will be a vicious cycle untill someone get set in fire... seriously. Are we going to wait untill this goes on 20 20, national nine news, ABC or BBC news before we try and do something about it?
The box part was inspired by ~parenthesisX with her boxes and people in them.

The offering up my heart part was based on the fact that when i typed in the word "emo" on the search, that was the most common image.

The rest was inspired by my cousin, who is evil and doesn't believe that emotions exist. But because s/he's had a crap childhood, i think the reason s/he hates emo's so much is because s/he's so broken inside s/he's completely rejected emotions and expresses that brokenness by making everyone around her miserable. S/he also inspired the line "justify your hatred", because that's what i believe she tried to do.

sorry about the spelling mistakes. You can taking as artistic licence or just the fact that i don't know how to use spell check... :P if it bothers too much, i'll see if i can change it :D

*edit OK! those spelling gramical errors bugged me! so i changed it.
PS, about the layout - i did that because half of those lines i created whilst listening to mind numbing doof doof music, so some of them I imaginged them as a rap and half of them in a lot slower rate. I perposely put the rhyming words below eachother to make it easier to understand :D

PSS, remind me to never use the phrase "knocked up a 20 year old" when refering to my cousin

this poem really speaks to those out there who are emo but are afraid to admit it because they'll be insulted. it also speaks to those who dont understand us "emos." it shows them that no matter who you are, inside we are all the same thing, people.
